A special micro-credit, 2 goats

A micro-credit different from others. In the surrounding of our missions we found that when women succeed in earn little money for the family, often their husbands take all amount and spend it in spirits without taking care of the family or children.

For this reason, ABChildren has found a new solution to give work without lending money. Loan at nature that is to offer to a woman the credit, in this case, 2 goats, after one year this woman have to give back the same credit without interests, it means the 2 first kids. She also will have the possibility to ask for a new loan 6 months after having pay off the debt. Of course the 2 kids will be used for another loan to another woman and so on.

A sewing machine

ABChildren offer a credit to buy a sewing machine and the equipment necessary to begin a trade on one's own account to motivated women that, after having frequented the tailoring formation centers, demostrate will to create a profession to maintain their families.

The consequences of this project in a short time is the improving of the life conditions in the village also for the children who will have time to grow and study normally.
