A new house for 80 children
India, state of Tamil Nadu, Andimadam area: the house for 80 children is the project that ABChildren have at heart.
"Why 80 children?" We don't want to create a simple orphanage or an hostel but our inspiration is to give a family, a house to those children who don't have anybody neither any opportunities.
" We don't want to make numbers, quantities, but we want to form persons by building up these children as our own children. It is just begun with the former girls in ABChildren Orphanage".
Every day new admission requests are received but we have to answer no, mainly because of lack of space. This is the reason why is urgent to build a new house. Who is in need can't be forsaken, expecially a child.
The house will be child-focused, spacious and breezy. It develops around a square garden with porticos, and there will be available large bedrooms with services, a multipurpose hall, the computer classroom, the library, the laundry and ironing room, the kitchen and a great refectory, the parlatory, the infirmary and staff rooms.
The construction of around 900 mqs will rise on a ground of 13,000 mqs at 2 Km from the village of Andimadam. It will be in the middle of a large garden with sport equipments for children, and it will be protected by a compound wall.
This will be the house of the children where they will live full time, they will study and play. ABChildren wants to provide a childhood development, literacy, physical activity, and nutrition programming.
ABChildren Orphanage is a large family, exactly what the children need.
