The first "ABChildren Orphanage"

In November 2004, in the Koovathur village, Perambalur District, state of Tamil Nadu, India, ABChildren Charity onlus has inaugurated the first orphanage managed in collaboration with the Bethlemite Sisters, nearby the St. Anthony Dispensary.

ABChildren started the "ABChildren Orphanage" program to ensure the support to the children that can be freely boarded in the Bethlemite's house.

Since March 2005, after the Tsunami, ABChildren Orphanage is hosting also orphans from the village of Keezhayur that was severely hit by the Tsunami on December 26th 2004.

The "ABChildren Orphanage" program is completely supporting the children who are admitted in a free conditions and is giving them nutrition, boarding, medical treatments, clothes, education and school. In the ABChildren Orphanage is like to be in a large family with time to plaly and to study and a chance to grow up naturally.
